Day Trip

Hanoi – Ha Long Bay – Hanoi

07:30–08:15A private limousine collects you from your hotel in the Hanoi Old Quarter for the drive to the coast.

10:30Arrive at Ha Long International Cruise Port, check in and board Vera with a welcome drink and a short briefing.

11:00The cruise sets off into Ha Long Bay, sailing past iconic karsts and rock formations - Human Head Rock, the Thumb and more.

12:00Gourmet seafood buffet lunch served on board as you cruise through the bay.

13:00Explore Sung Sot (Surprise) Cave, the largest and most spectacular cave in Ha Long Bay.

14:00Kayak or take a bamboo boat through Luon Cave, gliding beneath towering cliffs into a hidden lagoon.

15:00Titop Island - swim from the sandy beach or hike to the summit for a 360° panorama of the bay.

16:00Sunset party back on board: tea, fruit and snacks on the sundeck, with time in the outdoor jacuzzi.

Vera Cruise

We've hosted guests aboard the Vera and been over her ourselves, and she's a full, generous day out rather than a quick loop. The boat is smart and spotless, the crew kind and professional, and there's a jacuzzi that guests describe as pure bliss after a morning's kayaking.

The route packs a lot in without feeling frantic: kayaking at Luon Cave, a swim at Titov, the climb up Titop for the postcard view, and Sung Sot Cave. Lunch is a fresh seafood buffet with a proper spread of Asian and European dishes, and the sunset on the way back, with the breeze and the calm water, is the moment people remember.
