A Vietnam trip planned around you

Most people travelling to Vietnam don't want a fixed group tour or a stack of separate bookings to manage on the day. They want a comfortable, refined trip that simply works - hotels, transport, guides and cruises stitched together from the moment they land to the moment they fly home. That's what we do. We plan and run private, tailor-made Vietnam itineraries for couples, families and small groups, mostly travelling from Australia, Europe, the Americas and the Gulf, who would rather have the whole thing handled by one team they can speak to in plain English.

Whether you have seven days or three weeks, we build one complete journey in the right order and at the right pace - never rushed, never a checklist. Travelling with children or across a few generations? We plan around rest, travel times and the small comforts that make long days easy, so everyone arrives well and travels well.

Sample Vietnam itineraries

A starting point, not a fixed menu - every route is rebuilt around your dates, pace and budget.

These are three of the journeys we're asked for most often. Think of them as a feel for what's possible across 7, 10 and 14 days. Your own itinerary is shaped from scratch once we know how you like to travel.

7 days in Vietnam - the best of the north

Hanoi · Ninh Binh · Ha Long Bay · Sapa. Ideal for a first trip, a couple's escape or a family wanting the highlights without the rush.

Days 1–2 · Hanoi. Arrival, a gentle introduction to the Old Quarter, street food and French-quarter cafés, with time to recover from the flight.
Day 3 · Ninh Binh. A private day among the limestone valleys - a Trang An boat trip, Mua Cave and quiet countryside.
Days 4–5 · Ha Long Bay. An overnight cruise through the bay, with kayaking, caves and a sunrise on the water.
Days 6–7 · Sapa. Terraced rice fields, mountain views and ethnic-minority villages, before the return to Hanoi for departure.

Days 6–8 · Hoi An. The lantern-lit old town, riverside lanes, tailor shops and time on An Bang beach - a relaxed base for families.
Days 9–10 · Hue. The imperial city, royal tombs and the scenic Hai Van Pass, before flying home from Da Nang.

Planning your Vietnam trip - common questions

How many days do you need in Vietnam?

Seven days covers the north's highlights comfortably. Ten days lets you add the central heritage coast, and around fourteen days gives you the full country, north to south, without rushing. We'll match the route to the time you have.

Is Vietnam good for a family holiday?

Very. We plan family itineraries around comfortable pacing, shorter travel days and the small details that keep children and grandparents happy - from cabin choices on a cruise to where you stay near the beach.

Do you plan trips beyond the north?

Yes - we plan tailor-made journeys across the whole of Vietnam, north to south. The north is simply where our roots run deepest, which is why so much of our detail lives there.

How does the planning work?

Answer a few quick questions about your dates, travel style and who's coming. We send back a personalised itinerary with photos, routes and pricing, then refine it with you until it's right - and run it for you on the ground.
