What guests say
Guests come for the view and the pools - stone bungalows with balconies looking down the Muong Hoa Valley, two heated infinity pools facing the terraces, and staff who are warm and attentive. Guided treks into the villages and the breakfast buffet are consistently praised. There are no TVs or fridges by design, restaurant prices feel high, and fog can hide the view for days.
Getting about: the lodge is 45 minutes from Sapa by a rough road, so evenings are spent on site - a free shuttle runs to town twice a day, golf carts move guests around the hillside, and the transfer from Hanoi is a long five to seven hours.
