The Itinerary

Day 1

Tuan Chau - Nha Lat - Me Cung Cave - Tung Sau

11:30-11:45Arrive at the Emperor lounge, No. 28 Tuan Chau International Marina.

12:00Board the ship and settle into your suite.

12:30-13:30Lunch is served as the ship casts off.

14:45-15:30Me Cung Cave, the Cave of the Maze, in the Nha Lat area.

15:45-16:30Tender across to Tung Sau for kayaking.

17:00-18:30Afternoon tea, canapés and music on the sundeck, then a cooking demonstration.

19:30-21:00An à la carte dinner in the Royal Palace Restaurant.

21:00-22:00The bar, the spa, or squid fishing off the deck.

Day 2

Lan Ha Bay - Viet Hai Village - Ba Trai Dao

06:15-06:30Vovinam on the sundeck - the Vietnamese martial art, in place of the usual Tai Chi.

07:30-08:15Breakfast in the Can Chanh Palace Restaurant.

08:30A speedboat carries you to Viet Hai Village on Cat Ba Island; cycle or ride an electric car through the rainforest and visit a traditional house.

12:00Lunch in the village, or onboard the day boat.

13:30-15:00The Ba Trai Dao beaches beneath their vertical cliffs, tide permitting - or swimming and kayaking at Tra Bau.

16:00-17:00A massage, or a tour of the Pham Luc paintings and the Bao Dai story behind the ship.

17:30-18:30Afternoon tea and a cooking demonstration.

19:30-21:00Dinner in the Royal Palace Restaurant.

21:00-22:00Night squid fishing.

Day 3

Ha Long Bay - Luon Cave - Tuan Chau

06:00-06:30Vovinam on the sundeck at sunrise.

06:45-07:15A light breakfast - tea, coffee, pastries and fresh juices.

07:15-08:30Luon Cave, entered by bamboo boat rowed by a local, its walls hung with ferns, cycads and orchids.

08:30-09:15Pack up and check out of your suite.

09:30-10:30An à la carte brunch in the Can Chanh Restaurant as the ship cruises back.

11:00Disembark at Tuan Chau International Marina and conclude the cruise.
