Victoria Chau Doc Hotel

Four grades. Superior City View at 25m² looks over the town, Deluxe River View and Deluxe Garden View are both 32m², and the Victoria River Suite is 42m² with lounge seating, a work desk and a balcony. All take a double bed or two single beds and sleep two.

The address is 1 Le Loi Street, Chau Doc, An Giang, on the Bassac riverbank. Chau Doc market and the town centre are within walking distance. Sam Mountain, the Ba Chua Xu temple and the Tra Su cajuput forest are short drives, and the Cambodian border is close.

Breakfast is served in the Bassac restaurant, which is open from 06:00 to 22:00, and is included on the rates Few Days books. The buffet mixes Mekong Delta, Vietnamese and Western dishes. Room service runs to the same hours.

Check-in is from 14:00 and check-out is by 12:00 noon. Late check-in can be arranged subject to availability. Luggage can be left at reception before check-in or after check-out.

Each room takes two guests, so families normally need two rooms or connecting rooms, which the hotel can arrange on request. There is a children's pool alongside the main outdoor pool, plus a playground and a library. Cots and extra beds are available on request and may be charged.

Chau Doc is about 250 km from Ho Chi Minh City, around five to six hours by road, and roughly two and a half to three hours from Can Tho. Few Days arranges private transfers. The hotel also runs the Victoria speedboat to Phnom Penh, which takes most of a day including the border formalities.
