Grand Pioneers Cruise

We've hosted guests aboard the Grand Pioneers and been over her ourselves. She's a super-yacht built with eco-friendly technology, and guests routinely call the ship itself stunning - the lounge, the pool and the dining room as much as the cabins.

The rooms are spacious, many with a private terrace made for sitting out with the karsts in front of you, and the rooftop deck at sunset with a cocktail is the moment people mention most. Days are full if you want them - kayaking, caves, night squid fishing and a swim in the boat's own pool - and the crew set the tone from the gangway, warm and genuinely welcoming. The food is generous, varied and nicely presented.

What we've found: the Grand Pioneers suits guests who want a big, handsome ship with a pool and space to breathe, and a crew that makes a fuss of them from the first hello.
