Aqua Elegance Cruise

We've hosted guests aboard the Aqua Elegance and inspected her ourselves, and she's an easy one to recommend. The headline is the cabins: 21 of them, generously sized, and each with its own jacuzzi - guests keep telling us about soaking in warm water with the limestone rising straight out of the emerald bay in front of them.

The rest holds up. The food is varied and genuinely good, leaning into local dishes, and the crew are the warm, unfussy sort who make the logistics disappear. Days are spent kayaking, exploring caves and watching the sun drop from the sundeck, and the scenery does much of the work - the run through Ha Long and Lan Ha never stops being striking.

What we've found: choose the Aqua Elegance if a private jacuzzi and a proper view matter to you, and you want service that's attentive without hovering. It works well for couples and for families who want space.
