The Hotel

Four Points by Sheraton Ha Giang opened in December 2024 in the centre of Ha Giang city, on Tran Phu Street beside the stadium and a short walk from the Km 0 milestone. It is a twenty-storey tower with 151 rooms and suites, from 36m² to 177m², with large windows over the city and the hills behind. On site are Ha Giang Kitchen, a lobby lounge, a rooftop bar, an indoor pool, a spa and a 24-hour gym. It suits guests starting or ending the Ha Giang loop.

What room types are there?

Five grades. The Deluxe King and Deluxe Twin are both 36m² and sleep three. Above them are the 64m² Family Suite with a king bed and a living area, the 74m² Executive Suite with a separate sitting area and a bathtub, and the 177m² Presidential Suite with separate dining and sitting rooms.

Where is it and what can you walk to?

The hotel is in the centre of Ha Giang city, on Tran Phu Street at Cluster 12. Ha Giang Stadium is a minute away, the Ha Giang Provincial Museum about ten minutes and the Km 0 milestone about eleven. Restaurants and cafes in the city centre are all within a short walk.

Is breakfast included?

Breakfast is a Western and Asian buffet served in Ha Giang Kitchen on the fifth floor, from around 06:00 to 10:30. It is included on most rates.

What are the check-in and check-out times?

Check-in is from 15:00 and check-out is by 12:00, which is later than most hotels in the region. The front desk is staffed 24 hours. Bags can be left before check-in or after check-out, which is useful if you are heading straight out on the loop.

Is it suitable for families?

Yes. The 64m² Family Suite has a king bed and a living area and takes three guests, and the 74m² Executive Suite is the same occupancy with a separate sitting area. The Deluxe Twin gives two single beds in 36m². There is a year-round indoor pool, so weather is not a factor.

How do you get there from Hanoi and how long does it take?

Ha Giang city is roughly 300 km north of Hanoi and there is no airport or railway station in the city, so everyone arrives by road. A private car takes about six to seven hours; overnight sleeper buses run from Hanoi and take a similar time. Noi Bai International Airport is around 290 km away and the hotel does not run a shuttle.
