Our experience of
We've hosted guests aboard the Erina and been over her ourselves, and she's one we keep coming back to. The pattern never changes: it's the crew that makes the trip. Service is the first thing guests raise with us afterwards - warm, attentive, quick to remember names - and it sets the tone for the whole two days.
The route through Lan Ha Bay does the rest. It's the quieter water beside Ha Long, calmer and less crowded, and the karsts feel closer. The morning swim near the sandy island, the kayaking and the cycling on Cat Ba are the moments that stick with people. The cabins are genuinely spacious and spotless, the bathrooms bigger than most on the bay, and the food fresh and generous rather than fussy. The top-deck jacuzzi pool and sky bar are the finishing touches.
What we've found: choose the Erina if you want genuine service and the quieter side of the bay over a party boat. It suits couples and families who want space, good food and unhurried time on the water, run by a crew that clearly takes pride in it.
