Doria Cruise

We've hosted guests aboard the Doria and been over her ourselves, and the word that comes back most is "peaceful". She's new and elegant, the pace is deliberately leisurely, and guests tell us the whole thing feels built for unwinding rather than ticking boxes.

The rooms are modern with private balconies, the crew are the caring, professional sort that guests end up naming as the best part of the trip, and the food is carefully done - well presented, with plenty of variety day to day. The itinerary balances sightseeing and quiet time nicely, with kayaking, swimming, squid fishing and the caves, and because she works the Lan Ha side it never feels crowded.

What we've found: the Doria suits couples and anyone who wants a calm, unhurried couple of days with attentive service and good food, away from the busier routes.
