The Itinerary

How your 3 days / 2 nights unfolds.

Day 1

Hanoi → Lan Ha Bay → Viet Hai Village → Van Boi Beach

08:00–08:30Pick-up from your Hanoi Old Quarter hotel by limousine or shuttle.

12:15–12:30Arrive at the waiting lounge for check-in; a transfer boat takes you to the Tulip.

13:00–13:30Board at Finger Islet with a welcome drink and safety briefing, then lunch past Turtle Islet and Man Head Islet.

15:00Visit Viet Hai Village on Cat Ba Island by bicycle or electric car.

17:00Return to the Tulip for swimming and kayaking in the Van Boi area.

18:30Cooking class with the chef, then a sunset party with fruit, cakes and tea.

19:15–19:30Buffet dinner of fresh seafood and Vietnamese specialities.

21:00Evening at leisure with music and night squid fishing. Overnight on board.

Day 2

Hospital Cave → Cat Ba National Park → Lan Ha Bay

06:00Morning Tai Chi on the sundeck.

07:15Buffet breakfast with panoramic views of the seascape.

08:00Transfer by speedboat to Beo Harbour for a Cat Ba Island excursion.

08:15Visit Hospital Cave, a wartime field hospital hidden inside the mountain, then explore Cat Ba National Park and town.

15:00Return to Beo Harbour and transfer back to the Tulip to relax.

17:00Swimming or kayaking in the Van Boi Beach area.

18:30Cooking class and afternoon tea party while watching the sunset.

19:15–19:30Seafood dinner; the bar, wine cellar and evening entertainment to follow. Overnight on board.

Day 3

Tai Chi → Dark & Bright Cave → Hanoi

06:00–06:30Tai Chi on the sundeck.

06:45–07:30Morning views with tea or coffee and a light breakfast.

07:45Transfer by small boat to Dark & Bright Cave; a bamboo boat ride rowed by locals.

09:30Return to the Tulip and prepare for check-out.

11:30Check out and enjoy lunch on board.

12:40Disembark by speedboat at Tuan Chau Harbour and transfer back to Hanoi. End of trip.
