Rosy Cruise

We've hosted guests aboard the Rosy and been over her ourselves. She's a mid-sized boat, not one of the big floating hotels, and guests tell us that's part of the charm - room to breathe, but small enough that the crew know your name by the second meal.

Service is what people write home about; we've had guests name individual crew who made their family feel at home. The cabins are lovely and spotless, and a morning on your own balcony watching the bay slide past is the moment that sticks. The food is a genuine highlight, Vietnamese and international and plenty of it, and there's a seasonal jacuzzi up on deck with a panoramic view for winding down after the kayaking and caves.

What we've found: the Rosy suits couples and families who want warm, personal service and good food without a giant crowd. Guests who take the three-day itinerary tell us they're glad they did.
