The Itinerary

3 Days / 2 Nights, hour by hour.

Day 1

Tuan Chau - Ha Long Bay - Tra Bau, Lan Ha Bay

11:30-12:00Arrive at Tuan Chau Marina, Block 34, and take a briefing in the reception lounge.

12:00-12:30Transfer by support vessel out to Mon Chéri.

13:00Welcome drinks and cold towels, then lunch as the ship sails out of Ha Long Bay toward Lan Ha.

15:30Kayaking and swimming at Tra Bau; the jacuzzi and pool are open.

17:30-18:30A spring-roll demonstration on the sundeck, or simply the sunset - happy hour at the bar either way.

19:30Dinner is served in the restaurant.

21:00-22:00The sky bar, the spa, or squid fishing from the main deck.

Day 2

Lan Ha Bay - Viet Hai Village - Ba Trai Dao

06:00Tai Chi on the sundeck at sunrise.

06:45-07:15Breakfast onboard.

07:45Step across to the day boat for the run deeper into Lan Ha Bay - or stay aboard and let the day be slow.

10:30Land at Viet Hai jetty and cross Cat Ba's rainforest to the village by bicycle or electric cart.

12:15Lunch onboard the day boat as it cruises to the kayak ground.

13:30-16:30Kayaking into a secluded lagoon and swimming at Ba Trai Dao, the Three Peaches.

16:30Return to Mon Chéri; the pool and jacuzzi are open.

17:30-18:30Happy hour on deck, the sunset, and a cooking demonstration.

19:30Dinner onboard.

21:00-22:00The sky bar, live music, or squid fishing.

Day 3

Lan Ha Bay - Gia Luan - Trung Trang Cave - Tuan Chau

06:00Tai Chi on the sundeck at sunrise.

06:45-07:15Breakfast while the ship cruises back toward Gia Luan jetty.

07:30-09:00Go ashore on Cat Ba Island and drive up into the National Park to Trung Trang Cave.

09:30Return to Mon Chéri, check out of your cabin and settle the bill over brunch.

10:30-11:00Disembark at Tuan Chau Marina, Block 34.

11:30Luggage collected and the cruise concludes.
